React Job: Senior App Engineer

• University degree in related fields preferred

Company Description

We are looking for a Senior App Engineer (m/f/d) to work for our MyGroove startup. You will work in a hands-on, agile process using short iteration cycles with extensive team feedback on each iteration in order to deliver high quality work. Our app engineering team works on building our cross-platform mobile app for MyGroove using the react native framework. As a an app engineer, you will be working along with our other developers on building & improving our app, implementing modern experiences with our designers and launching exciting new features for our users.

Create high-performance & beautiful animations and layouts in our app

Integrate with native (C++) modules for cutting-edge features in audio & video processing

Performance improvement

Fix bugs and deep dive into our code to improve performance

Qualifications

Strong Experience in Typescript & React Native

Experience with React Hooks & State Management Libraries (we are using zustand)

Experience with native modules for React Native (integrating C++ libs as native modules for iOS / Android)

Bonus points if you have experience with creating high-performance custom animations using Reanimated v2

Familiar with code collaboration processes using Git, GitHub, Issues, Pull Requests, Code Reviews etc.

Familiar with GraphQL

Self-organized & comfortable with remote work
